Skills Academy Supported Accommodation Pathway
The health and social care landscape is shifting rapidly, and Semi‑Independent and Supported Living providers are now required to register their services with Ofsted. This change, effective from 28 October 2023, marks a significant transition for many providers who have previously operated without regulation. For most, this is entirely new territory.
To support the sector through this change, we have developed a dedicated Skills Academy for Semi‑Independent and Supported Living Services. This pathway is designed to help providers understand, interpret, and confidently implement the new regulatory requirements while strengthening overall practice, governance, and service quality.
Following the outstanding success and excellent feedback from our Skills Academy for Children’s Homes, we have expanded our offer to include this new Supported Accommodation Pathway, ensuring providers have access to the same high‑quality guidance, tools, and sector‑leading expertise.
Let us support you, your teams, and your services as we navigate this journey together.
